Student Visa Support

Visa guidance for students enrolled in a Lindeln Language Club program and travelling to Switzerland.

Important: This service is available only to students who are enrolled in one of our programs. We can guide you through the application, appointment process, and document preparation. We do not issue visas and we cannot guarantee approval.

Which Swiss visa may apply?

The responsible Swiss representation decides which visa is required. In general, a short language course or program of up to 90 days may fall under a Schengen short-stay visa (type C), while a stay of more than 90 days may require a national visa (type D) and cantonal authorisation. The correct route depends on your nationality, country of residence, purpose, and length of stay.

General document checklist

This is a starting checklist, not a guarantee of completeness. The responsible Swiss representation may request additional documents and the requirements can change.

  • Completed and signed visa application form.
  • Valid recognised passport or travel document, with the required validity and blank pages.
  • Recent biometric passport photograph.
  • Lindeln enrolment, acceptance, booking, or program confirmation showing the purpose of travel.
  • Proof of accommodation and a clear travel or return itinerary.
  • Travel medical insurance for the required area and the entire stay, where applicable.
  • Proof of sufficient financial means and documents for the parent, guardian, or sponsor paying for the trip.
  • School enrolment, leave, or education documents, when requested.
  • Birth, family, and parental consent documents for students under 18.
  • Previous visa or travel documents, translations, legalisations, and duplicate copies when required by the responsible representation.
  • Biometrics and an appointment at the responsible Swiss representation, when required.
Before you apply: Current visa fees, appointment rules, insurance limits, translations, and document checklists must be confirmed with the responsible Swiss representation or our advisor. Please do not send your passport number through this public form; we will tell you how to share any sensitive document securely if it is needed.

What our visa support includes

  • Support for students enrolled in a Lindeln Language Club program.
  • A preliminary document checklist based on your program and circumstances.
  • Guidance while completing the visa application.
  • Guidance for arranging the visa appointment and preparing required program documents.

What is not included

  • We do not attend the visa interview with the student.
  • Visa application fees, appointment-centre fees, insurance, translation, legalisation, travel, accommodation, and other local expenses are not included in our service.
  • Visa approval is decided by the competent Swiss authorities. Lindeln Language Club is not responsible for a visa refusal, delay, or a decision by the authorities.

Refund and travel conditions

If a visa is refused, 50% of the camp or program fee will be refunded according to the applicable booking conditions. A flight refund is limited to the amount actually refunded by the airline; amounts that the airline does not refund cannot be reimbursed by us. Please contact our advisor for the current visa fees and any other applicable costs before applying.
